Fantasy Football 2023 – Waiver Wire Targets for Week 16

The fantasy playoffs continue in Week 16, and if you are lucky enough to still be in contention you will want to get your waiver moves just right. These are the players you should be targeting ahead of Week 16.

Running back

Ty Chandler, Minnesota Vikings – Chandler was one of the best performers in Week 15. He looked excellent in place of Alexander Mattison, averaging 5.7 yards per carry and racking up over 150 scrimmage yards. He could be in for another big game in Week 16.

Zamir White, Las Vegas Raiders – White filled in for Josh Jacobs against the Chargers and looked good. He rushed for 69 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries, scoring 17.5 points in the process. If Jacobs misses another game next week expect White to get the bulk of the workload.

Wide receiver

Noah Brown, Houston Texans – I mentioned last week that Brown would see a lot more work in the absence of Nico Collins and Tank Dell. We saw that happen in Week 15, with Brown earning 11 targets and scoring 22.2 points against the Titans. He should feature heavily again next weekend.

Dontayvion Wicks, Green Bay Packers – Wicks has been playing an increasingly important role for the Packers through recent weeks and that could increase again in Week 16. Jayden Reed left the game against the Bucs with a toe injury and this receiving corps is looking thin. Wicks could be the Packers’ WR1 against the Panthers next week.

Tight end

Tucker Kraft, Green Bay Packers – Another Packer who has made the most of injuries at other spots, Kraft is coming off a 17.7 point outing in Week 15. He has scored double digit points in three of his last four games and has finished as TE12 or better three times since Week 12.

Hunter Henry, New England Patriots – This one is pretty simple. Henry has now scored 20+ points in back-to-back games. He is also going to be going up against the Broncos in Week 16, who are allowing the most fantasy points to tight ends in the NFL.

Quarterback

Baker Mayfield, Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Mayfield looked excellent against the Packers in Week 15, logging a perfect passer rating and scoring 29 fantasy points. This weekend he faces a Jaguars defense that has been allowing plenty of points to opposing quarterbacks all season.
