IDP Fantasy 2022 – Waiver Wire Targets for Week 10

Perhaps you have lost one of your star players to injury? Or maybe your team just needs some added reinforcement. Whatever the reason might be for you dipping into the waiver wire, these are the players you should be looking to pick up in IDP fantasy ahead of Week 10.

Defensive line

Javon Hargrave, Philadelphia Eagles – Hargrave has been on a tear through recent weeks. In his last two games he has managed to score an absurd 73 points, which is in no small part down to his production as a pass rusher. He should continue that over the next few games, where he faces the likes of Washington Indianapolis, and Green Bay.

Dremont Jones, Denver Broncos – Jones is another defensive lineman who has been great in recent weeks. The Broncos were on a bye in Week 9 but in his two previous games he managed to combine for 49 points. He has also logged three games of 20+ this season. Despite all of this he is still available in over 80% of IDP leagues.

Grady Jarrett, Atlanta Falcons – Jarrett ranks as the DL28 in points per game scoring this season, averaging 13.1 points per game. He has had a number of big showings already this season with four games of 15+ points. He also has a few underwhelming offensive lines in the pipeline that should allow him to score more. Jarrett is still available in 59% of leagues.

Linebacker

Josey Jewell, Denver Broncos – Injuries have limited Jewell’s playing time, with him appearing in just four games. When he has been on the field though he has been an outstanding fantasy player, averaging 21.5 points per game. This puts him third amongst linebackers. Jewell should get plenty of tackle opportunities against the run-heavy Titans in Week 10. He is also rostered in just 37% of leagues.

Drue Tranquill, Los Angeles Chargers – Tranquill has been very reliable this season, averaging 18.1 points per game. He has also managed to score double digit points in every game so far. He is coming off a 29-point outing against the Falcons in Week 9. Tranquill is also available in almost half of IDP leagues.

Willie Gay, Kansas City Chiefs – Gay is back for the Chiefs, having served his suspension for a violation of the personal conduct policy. He has been averaging 17 points per game this season, which puts him 23rd amongst linebackers. Despite his talent and path to the field, Gay isn’t rostered nearly as much as you would expect and is available in over 60% of leagues.

Defensive back

Damar Hamlin, Buffalo Bills – Hamlin has been excellent since earning a starting role on this Bills defense. He has scored double digit points in every game in which he has had meaningful playing time. He has been getting plenty of tackles and has also showed up as a second level blitzer. To make things better, Hamlin is available in 90% of IDP leagues.

Kamren Curl, Washington Commanders – Curl has been a reliable IDP producer this season. He has logged five double digit scoring games in his seven outings so far this season. The vast majority of his snaps have come in the box and this has resulted in plenty of tackles. Curl is available in just over half of IDP leagues.

Jalen Pitre, Houston Texans – Pitre is having a very solid rookie season for the Texans. He appears to have earned himself a starting role and is seemingly always around the football. Through his last two games he has scored 31 points and this season he ranks as the DB17 with an average of 15.9 points per game. He’s unlikely to be available for long but you can still find him on waivers in 44% of IDP leagues.
