IDP Fantasy 2023 – Waiver Wire Targets for Week 15

Week 14 is in the books, and if you’re lucky enough you’ve made it to your fantasy league’s playoffs. Making sure you maximise the waiver wire at this point is key to separating yourself from the competition. These are the IDP players you should be targeting ahead of Week 15.

Defensive line

DJ Wonnum, Minnesota Vikings – Wonnum might not boast high end production, but his consistency through recent weeks is what puts him on this list. He has scored at least 14 points in each of his last four games and has three sacks in that period.

Jonathan Greenard, Houston Texans – I mentioned in last week’s column that Greenard has a habit of putting in big games against bad offensive lines. He promptly had two sacks and scored 32 points against the Jets. Don’t be surprised if his good run continues in Week 15 with a matchup against the Titans.

Bradley Chubb, Miami Dolphins – It’s worth continuing the trend of betting on guys who play the Jets. Chubb will face off against that torrid offensive line next week and should have no issues making some noise in the backfield.

Linebacker

Ivan Pace, Minnesota Vikings – Pace is coming off an absolutely phenomenal performance in Week 14 against the Raiders. He racked up 13 tackles, a sack, and an interception on his way to scoring 38 points. He has excelled since taking over from Jordan Hicks, averaging 27 points through his last three games.

Tyrel Dodson, Buffalo Bills – Dodson has been a nice IDP option for the Bills this season. Through the last five weeks he has logged two 20+ point outings and has averaged 16.6 points. He is well worth a roster spot at this point of the season.

Christian Harris, Houston Texans – Harris is earning the trust of DeMeco Ryans and has been taking on a bigger role in Houston’s defense through recent weeks. He has topped 20 points twice in his last three games and has a nice matchup against the Titans ahead of him in Week 15.

Defensive back

Ja’Quan McMillian, Denver Broncos – Whether it is interceptions, forced fumbles, or sacks, McMillian has been making a habit of delivering splash plays for Denver. Since earning a starting role in Week 8 he has topped 15 points four times. He is coming off his third 20+ point performance of the season.

PJ Locke, Denver Broncos – The Broncos have plenty of IDP talent at defensive back. This is Locke’s second straight week on this list and for good reason. He has now scored 20+ points in three straight games.
