IDP Fantasy 2023 – Waiver Wire Targets for Week 12

With Week 11 in the books, it is time to start looking ahead to the waiver wire and assessing what talent is available to help boost your roster. These are the IDP players you should look to target ahead of Week 12.

Defensive line

Jaelan Phillips, Miami Dolphins – Phillips has been in great form through recent weeks, scoring 20+ points in three of his last four games. This included a 39 point outing against the Raiders in Week 11. He’s got a dire Jets offensive line ahead of him in Week 12 and he should put up big numbers once again.

Odafe Oweh, Baltimore Ravens – Oweh has been a nicely productive part of Baltimore’s front since his return from an ankle injury in Week 7. He has surpassed 15 points three times in his last five games and has four sacks in that period.

Harold Landry, Tennessee Titans – Landry has been stepping it up in recent weeks, with five sacks in his last five games. He’s managed to score 20+ points three times since Week 6 too. With a very favourable matchup against the Panthers on the horizon he would be a smart add.

Linebacker

Elandon Roberts, Pittsburgh Steelers – If Roberts is still on waivers in your leagues then hoover him up – this might be your last chance. He scored 30 points in Week 11 against the Browns and played 100% of the Steelers’ defensive snaps. He has now scored 15+ points in each of his last four games and goes up against a Jake Browning-led Bengals in Week 12.

Tyrel Dodson, Buffalo Bills – Dodson has been getting more playing time for the Bills in recent weeks and had the best game of his season so far in Week 11. He finished with seven tackles, a sack and a forced fumble against the Jets, scoring 25 points. He’s a solid addition moving forward.

Ivan Pace, Minnesota Vikings – With Jordan Hicks on injured reserve, Pace has taken over as the starting linebacker for the Vikings. He played 100% of snaps in Week 11, scoring 18 points thanks to nine tackles and a forced fumble. Expect him to be an impact player for Minnesota for the rest of the year.

Defensive back

DaRon Bland, Dallas Cowboys – Bland is having an absolutely incredible season in Dallas. He logged his fourth pick six of the season in Week 11, tying the NFL record. He now has six interceptions on the season and has averaged 16.6 points per game. I like his Week 12 matchup against Washington too.

Jordan Whitehead, New York Jets – Whitehead has been a big part of the Jets’ defense this season, playing every single snap since Week 3. He has also scored double digit points in each of his last five games and feels like a very dependable IDP starter.
