Fantasy Football 2022 – Waiver Wire Targets for Week 11

Maybe you’ve lost one of your star players to injury? Or maybe your team just needs some extra reinforcement. Whatever it might be, it makes sense to get ahead of your competition and utilise the waiver wire. These are the players you should be targeting in fantasy football ahead of Week 11.

Running back

Jerick McKinnon, Kansas City Chiefs – Isaiah Pacheco has taken over as the lead runner in the Chiefs’ backfield and if recent weeks are anything to go by, McKinnon has become their primary receiving back. He has earned 16 targets in his last two games alone and scored double digit points in each. He might not be featuring much as a runner, but with this kind of volume that doesn’t matter.

Wide receiver

Darius Slayton, New York Giants – Slayton is well worth stashing on your roster. He’s been a big part of the Giants’ passing game through recent weeks and has scored double digit points in four of his last five games. He has also managed to go over 50 yards in four of those games too. Slayton is available in 42% of leagues and has a good matchup ahead against the Lions in Week 11.

Khalif Raymond, Detroit Lions – Raymond has developed into a key starter for this Lions offense, playing at least 90% of snaps in each of the last four games. He is getting a solid number of targets and has managed to hit double digits twice since Week 7. The ceiling might not be the highest, but he is worth picking up as a depth option.

Jarvis Landry, New Orleans Saints – Week 10 saw Landry make his first appearance since way back in Week 4. He might only have managed 8.7 points, but he did earn six targets. He has now had five or more targets in four of his five outings this season. With Michael Thomas seemingly set to miss the rest of the season, Landry should see solid usage for the rest of the season.

Tight end

Juwan Johnson, New Orleans Saints – I’ve been banging the table for Johnson all season and this week is no different. He has clearly built a good connection with Andy Dalton and has managed three TE1 finishes over the last four weeks. He has also become a key part of their red zone offense, with his four touchdowns over the last four games as many as all other Saints combined. Johnson is still available in 37% of leagues.

Foster Moreau, Las Vegas Raiders – Darren Waller is on IR and Moreau is the next man up. He has already looked good for the Raiders so far this season and is rarely leaving the field. He has two double digit outings over the last four weeks and should get some more with his expanded opportunities over the next few weeks. Moreau is available in 32% of leagues.

Quarterback

Matt Ryan, Indianapolis Colts – It looks like the Sam Ehlinger experiment in Indy is over as soon as it began. Matt Ryan was seemingly cast off into the scrap heap, but interim head coach Jeff Saturday has brought him back into the starting lineup. Ryan does have a tough matchup against the Eagles in Week 11, but he’s worth a roster spot for the rest of the season regardless.
